The Exciseman Bedroom looks down to Dullan Water and the famous distillery of Mortlach which was built in 1823 and still in operation today.  It is double aspect and you will have a view of the distillery pagoda, warehouses, the former proprietor's and manager's house and then further eastwards over Glenfiddich.  Your room can be set up with either a superking or twin beds.  The room has a well appointed ensuite shower room with stain glass window.

The Architect (Superking Ensuite Twin or Double)

 Architect Bedroom

The house underwent some 'modernisation' in the 1920s and this is reflected through the style of the famous Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Macintosh. The bedroom is completed with handmade wooden Rennie Macintosh inspired furniture and decor. The room has lovely long views eastwards over Glen Fiddich with magnificent sunrises in the morning. The ensuite has a large luxury walk-in shower.

The Bank Manager (Superking Ensuite Twin or Double)

The rooms of the west wing of the house were formerly a branch of the North of Scotland Bank. The large bedroom is double aspect with a view westerly over the rooftops to the Dufftown Clock Tower. This accommodation wing also has its own large ensuite with luxury walk-in shower, double sinks, fireplace and the sash window allows a southerly view over the gardens towards Dullan Water.
